Job Description
In the new role of Contract and Leasing Officer you will be working closely with our Governance team to develop and review procedures, policies and templates for the effective management and administration of the Shire’s contracts. You will contribute to the development of a compliance framework for established leases, licences and agreements and maintain associated registers.
Driven by a strong work ethic and high standards, you will use your research and problem-solving skills to champion transparency and accountability in contract management across the Shire. Your professional and friendly communication style will enable you to build and maintain strong working relationships across the organisation.

Base annual salary $76,900 per annum dependent on skills, experience, and qualifications
Annual leave loading of 17.5%

To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate:

Demonstrated experience in leasing or contract roles (or similar) and associated administrative tasks.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office suite of systems.
Qualifications or experience in procurement and contracting, work experience in a contract administration role, and experience in government procurement will be highly regarded.
